Utrecht II: Charting the Future of Parapsychology (2008)
Held in Utrecht, the Netherlands, from October 15th through October 18th, 2008, this conference brought together a unique group of speakers, presenters, discussants and observers to assess “Where We Are Now and Where We Are Going?” in scientific parapsychology. The Study of Mediumship: Interdisciplinary Perspectives (2005)
Held in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA in 2005, this conference focused on the study and use of mediumship in various cultures including mediumnship research in the United States, the use of mediums in field investigations in the United States, mediumship in the Spiritist traditions in Brazil and Puerto Rico, and the relationship of creativity and dissociation to mediumship abilities, as well as the history of mediumship in psychical research. The participants included Carlos S. Alvarado, Etzel Cardeña, Joan Koss-Chioino, Jesus Soto Espinosa, Wellington Zangari, Emily W. Kelly, Gary Schwartz, Ruth Reinsel and Loyd Auerbach. Held in Boston, Massachusetts, USA in 1993, this conference focused on aspects of death and survival of death. Held at St. Paul de Vence, France, the conference explored relationships between psychology and parapsychology. Some of the topics discussed were methodology to study the phenomena of parapsychology, parapsychological phenomena in Aprimitive people, and the importance of symbiotic relationships to ESP. Psycho-Physiological Correlates of Paranormal Mental States (1963)
Held at St. Paul de Vence, this conference discussed the relationship between psychophysiology and altered states of consciousness and parapsychological phenomena. The participants included H.A.C. Dobbs, Jule Eisenbud, C.A. Meier, John R. Smythies, Inge Strauch, and W. Grey Walter.

Conference on Inter-Disciplinary Studies (1961)
Held at St. Paul de Vence, France, this conference was devoted to the potential contribution of a variety of disciplines to the problems of parapsychology. Some of the topics discussed were research at the Soviet Union, the effects of LSD on ESP, and the psychoanalytic approach to the study of ESP. The participants included Douglas Dean, Martin Ebon, Aldous Huxley, Jan Kappers, Marcel Martiny, and W. Grey Walter.

Conference on Parapsychology and Pharmacology (1959)
Held at St. Paul de Vence, France, this conference continued the previous one in discussing hallucinogenic drugs and parapsychology. Some of the topics discussed were personality and enhanced awareness during the use of hallucinogens. The participants included Alain Assailly, Duncan B. Blewett, Roberto Cavanna, Rosalind Heywood, Father Reginald-Omez, and Emilio Servadio.

The Study of Precognition: Evidence and Methods (1959)
Held at New York, this conference focused on the methodology in the study of precognition. Some of the topics discussed were the definition of precognition, and the history of research on spontaneous and experimental precognition. The participants included C.J. Ducasse, Francis Huxley, Gardner Murphy, Joseph Rush, Robert Van de Castle, and Rhea White.

Conference on Parapsychology and Psychedelics (1958)
Held at New York, this conference was devoted to the implications of psychedelic drugs on ESP and on human potential in general. Some of the topics discussed were suggestibility, the effects of drugs on ESP, and research techniques with these drugs. The participants included Duncan B. Blewett, Eileen J. Garrett, Karlis Osis, Humphy Osmond, Ira Progoff, and John R. Smythies.

International Research Coordination Meeting (1957)
Held at St. Paul de Vence, France, this conference was an attempt to exchange information from around the world. Some of the topics discussed were recent studies of ESP experiences, the concept of precognition and mediumship in relation to survival. The participants included Piero Cassoli, Jan Ehrenwald, J.M.J. Kooy, Emilio Servadio, and George Zorab.

International Symposium on Psychology and Parapsychology (1956)
Held at Royaumont, France, this conference focused on the psychological aspects of parapsychological phenomena. Some of the topics discussed included psychodynamic processes, personality variables, and attitudes and ESP. The participants included Robert Amadou, Ernesto de Martino, Jan Ehrenwald, Jean Lhermitte, C.A. Meier, and Emilio Servadio.

Conference on Spontaneous Phenomena (1955)
Held at Cambridge, England, this conference was devoted to different aspects of the study of spontaneous phenomena in parapsychology. Some of the topics discussed included methodologies to study phenomena and the variety of psychic phenomena. The participants included Lydia W. Allison, Kathleen M. Goldney, Hornell Hart, C.A. Meier, Gardner Murphy, Louisa E. Rhine, and W.H. Salter.

International Philosophic Symposium (1954)
Held at St. Paul de Vence, France, this conference focused on philosophical aspects of parapsychology. Some of the topics discussed were theoretical considerations and the meaning of psychic phenomena. The participants included C.J. Ducasse, Aldous Huxley, Pascual Jordan, Gabriel Marcel, C.W.K. Mundle, and H.H. Price.

International Study Group on Unorthodox Healing (1954)
Held at St. Paul de Vence, France, this conference explored the topic of healing. Some of the topics discussed were criteria for miraculous healing and methodologies to study healing. The participants included Hans Bender, Eileen J. Garrett, Hubert Larcher, Francois Leuret, Emilio Servadio, and D.J. Van Lennep.

First International Conference of Parapsychological Studies (1953)
This groundbreaking conference was held at Utrecht, Holland. Four working groups on different issues and problems of parapsychology were organized: 1) quantitative studies; 2) psychotherapeutic and psychoanalytic approaches; 3) spontaneous phenomena and qualitative research; 4) personality of the sensitive.
