Author(s) or anthology editor(s) who are interested in publishing their book with Helix Press should send a standard query packet, including a cover letter describing the work, its stage of development, expected completion date if not as yet completed, a table of contents, one to three sample chapters, and a copy of the resume or curriculum vitae of the author(s) or editor(s). The query packet should be addressed to Parapsychology Foundation’s Executive Director, Lisette Coly at the Foundation’s address which is listed below. Do NOT submit complete manuscripts with the query packet.
Should the Foundation become interested in considering the title for potential publication with Helix Press, the author(s) or editor(s) will be notified and a complete manuscript requested. Following receipt of a requested manuscript, the submission committee will notify the author(s) or editor(s) of any decision made.
It should be also noted that Helix Press does not, as a general rule, pay advances, and a standard book contract is negotiated for all accepted titles.
Unsolicited manuscripts that are sent by the author will not be acknowledged. Nor will manuscripts be returned to the author whether solicited or unsolicited.
Book agents should contact Ms. Coly directly via email at office@parapsychology.org before submitting a query on behalf of an author or anthology editor.
